Reset Adolescence for Success!
ELN was a partner in an Erasmus+ KA1 Mobility for youth workers, coordinated by AR Vocational and Investment Solutions – ARVIS Romania. The project, reference number 2015-2-RO01-KA105-015489, was financed by European Commission and implemented between September 2015 and January 2016.
The other partners were: Kracanie po vode/Walking on Water (Slovakia), Grupo de Jovens Novo Mundo (Portugal), Fundacja na rzecz integracji zawodowej, spolecznej oraz rozwoju przedsiebiorczosci VIA (Poland), Center for education and development (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), Asociatia EXCELPIOR a parintilor elevilor Colegiului National Petru Rares Suceava (Romania), RAPLECTION (Croatia), Neformalni skupina mladeze Tereza (Czech Republic) and “Petru Rares” National Colledge (Romania).
The main activity of the project consisted of a training course run by Anca Vieriu, ARVIS President and Miruna Maxim, psychologist, between 4 and 10 October 2015.
The course offered the participants the possibility to understand better adolescence and risk factors related to this stage of life, create an original strategy of working with adolescents so as to minimise the risk factors, and to test this strategy as a beneficial alternative to mitigating the risk attitudes/ behaviours of both adolescents and adults alike.
Through non-formal education (NFE) methods: seminars, workshops, open space discussions, simulations, world cafe debates participants (along with local teenagers, families, teachers, colleagues and the wider community) were able to share unique experiences while learning from each other.
